Plenty is an executive search firm for venture-backed startups. We are former startup operators with an unmatched track record of diversity, quality, and speed. Our leadership team has scaled 10+ venture-backed companies and partnered with leading VCs including YC, a16z, Sequoia, and General Catalyst.

We operate with the mindset that “every client can be our last.” We take on fewer customers, limit the number of roles for our team and we fill roles almost twice as fast as the industry average. We are an LGBTQ+ owned business with a strong track record on diversity - over 80% of our CTO placements alone have been from underrepresented communities. We recruit leadership roles across all functions including tech, GTM, people, product, and operations.

Our Story

As a startup, you may have been advised to build the right leadership team, maybe 87 times or so. Also, you may have been told/read/learned that the talent competition is stiff, that good hires take time, but really - get your leadership team in place if you want to scale. Another 87 times or so. (As if this doesn't add to founders' burnout.)

Plenty was founded by Thach Nguyen, an industry-leading talent executive with experience at growth businesses like Google, Airbnb, Disney, Care/of and SWORD Health. Thach knows how important talent is to the success of a company, especially executive leadership at startups. Plenty provides specialized executive search services designed to help our portfolio of customers realize their mission, faster. Since launching in stealth mode in the summer of 2021, our average time to fill has been 70 days - almost twice as fast as the industry average!
